Growing Rocket Health's YouTube to 3 Lakh+ Views

The Brief

Rocket Health is a mental health platform. Their YouTube channel had potential but lacked a clear content strategy — videos were inconsistent in format, tone, and reach. The goal was to build a channel that actually served their audience: people looking for credible, accessible mental health content.

The Approach

I started by auditing the existing content and studying what was working for comparable channels. The insight was clear: the most effective mental health content on YouTube walked the line between being medically credible and genuinely human. Too clinical, and people switch off. Too casual, and the platform loses trust.

From that insight, I built a content framework that defined:

  • Content pillars: awareness, destigmatisation, practical tools, and community stories
  • Script structure: a hook that earns attention, a middle that educates without overwhelming, and an ending that empowers
  • Tone guidelines specific to YouTube (conversational, not performative)

What I Wrote

I wrote full scripts for multiple episodes across content pillars — covering topics like anxiety management, navigating burnout, understanding therapy, and building emotional resilience.

Each script went through a review cycle with the clinical team to ensure accuracy before production.

The Result

  • The channel’s top-performing video (which I scripted) crossed 3 lakh+ views
  • Overall channel engagement improved significantly quarter-on-quarter
  • The content framework is now used as the production brief template for new episodes
